Aktuelle Singer-Songwriter in Deutschland, Frankreich, Schweden und Österreich : Text - und Musikanalysen

Abstract

Deutschland, Frankreich, Schweden und Österreich - Unterschiedliche Länder in unterschiedlichen Regionen Europas. Eine der zentralen Fragen dieser Dissertation ist, wie die einzelnen Künstler der genannten Länder ihre Liedtexte mit der Musik verbinden. Der erste Blick offenbart im Vergleich von Texten und Musik der jungen Singer-Songwriter eine Vielzahl von Gemeinsamkeiten. Die folgende nähere Betrachtung arbeitet schwer erkennbare Unterschiede heraus. Texte und Musik werden anhand von Gedichtanalysen und mit Sonic Visualiser betrachtet und in Zusammenhang gebracht. Für eine Verbindung der einzelnen Merkmale finden Interviews mit einigen der Künstlern Verwendung. Für die Künstler selbst, spielt besonders die eigene Individualität eine große Rolle. Insgesamt wird in dieser Arbeit deutlich, dass noch einiges an Forschungspotenzial in diesem aktuellen Thema vorhanden ist.

Germany. France, Sweden and Austria, they represent different countries in different areas of europe. The central point of this dissertation is, how artists in these countries connect text and music to create their art. A first glance compares the choosen young artists and shows a multitude of mutualities. Later on, the finer details are analysed and thus hardly recognizable differences are exposed. For this, texts are analysed like a poem while the music is analysed via „Sonic Visualiser“ at last both are connected through the timing of the song. To get a better understanding of the artists intentions, some of them were intervied in context of their music. For them mostly their individuality is the main point that is to be transmitted. Summing up, it is shown that there is still a huge potential for further studies concerning this still actual topic.
