| Abstract: | The second part on the culture of remembrance in both countries begins with Michael Hecht's contribution on memory and political culture: concentration camp memorials in Germany. By comparing the practice of remembrance in the memorials of the former concentration camps Dachau and Buchenwald, he works out the differences in the Holocaust reception of the two German states. Der zweite Teil über die Erinnerungskultur in beiden Staaten beginnt mit dem Beitrag von Michael Hecht über Erinnerung und politische Kultur: KZ-Gedenkstätten in Deutschland. Im Vergleich der Erinnerungspraxis in den Gedenkstätten der ehemaligen Konzentrationslager Dachau und Buchenwald arbeitet er die Unterschiede in der Holocaust-Rezeption beider deutscher Teilstaaten heraus. |
