| Abstract: | Die Popularisierung des Holocaust in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland wird von Andreas Mohrig analysiert. Im Film wurde früher als in der Gedenkkultur und in der Historiographie ein Medium der aktiven Auseinandersetzung mit dem Holocaust gefunden. Die Gefahren einer Trivialisierung und des Ausblendens der Dimension des Massenmordes konterkarieren diesen Vorsprung. The popularization of the Holocaust in the Federal Republic of Germany is analyzed by Andreas Mohrig. Earlier than in the culture of remembrance and in historiography, a medium for actively dealing with the Holocaust was found in film. The dangers of trivialization and of fading out the dimension of mass murder counteract this lead. |
