| Abstract: | Die vorliegende Untersuchung befasst sich in erster Linie mit modussynkretischen Verbformen und tempussynkretischen Konjunktivformen anhand 28 ausgewählter Prosatexte des Bochumer Mittelhochdeutsch-Korpus. Zudem stellt sie einen Versuch dar, eine neue Konjunktivdefinition, die auf alle mittelhochdeutschen Verbformen angewendet werden kann, vorzustellen. The present study is primarily concerned with the German syncretic verb forms regarding mood (modus) and syncretic subjunctive forms regarding tense (tempus). The basis for this work are 28 selected prose writings of the Bochum Corpus of Middle High German. Furthermore this study can be seen as an attempt to present a new definition of subjunctives which can be applied to all verbs of Middle High German. |
