Dataset Description
===================

This dataset comprise the supplementary 
materials of a research article entitled:

"Knock-out of vascular smooth muscle epidermal
growth factor receptor prevents obesity-induced
vascular dysfunction and renal damage in vivo"

An initial version of the data comprised only
supplementary tables 6 and 7. 
A new version of the data set contains additional
supplementary materials as listed below.

Instructions
============

The original data are available in MSExcel (*.xlsx) 
Format. The data are also available as CSV (*.csv)
files to ensure the data can be read in other 
statistical software packages.
  

Data Curation Procedures
========================

Research data sets published in Share_it undergo
a basic review prior to publishing and release. 
Depending on the individual nature of each dataset
some curation procedures will be conducted.

The following tasks were undertaken:

. Data files have been checked for consistency
and accuracy

. Variable and value labels have been checked

. Metadata was generated for the dataset and
a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) assigned. 

. A review for possible data protection,
confidentiality issues or legal conflicts was
undertaken with the author prior to the
publication of the data.
