It should be focused on health resources, coping of job requirements and aspects of barriers of managers and specialists in knowlegde-based jobs. Managers and specialists in knowlegde-based jobs build up the data basis for thirteen episodic interviews which were analysed from a content analysis approach with the parameter of contrast „status of responsibility“. Knowlegde-based jobs are characterized by mental strain like high complexity, many cooperation, high completeness and many interruptions. If the responsibility of the employees rise, the emotional requirements will increase. However, responsibility protects the professional role in the context of job. Employees with less responsibilty are able to operate within the company using tactical and emotional options. The neglect of employees needs leads to entrepreneurial evasion strategies like avoidance or inner distance.
