Ethiopia can be considered as a land of minorities by any objective and subjective criteria used in defining minorities. This working paper examines especially how the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia treats the issue of minority rights, as well as the current trends in the implementation of minority rights in that country. The international human rights instruments to which Ethiopia is a party are also documented here. (ECMI)-
