This thesis focuses on stabilizing the internal electricity supply of ADDINOL Lube Oil GmbH through the optimization of energy processes. Given the increasing political emphasis on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, as outlined in Germany's Climate Protection Act, the company aims to reduce its reliance on conventional energy sources. A key objective is to integrate photovoltaic (PV) systems with a total capacity of 800 kWh, which will supply more than 60% of the factory's electricity demand. To enhance self-sufficiency, energy storage systems are planned to utilize excess energy during lowdemand periods and to manage load peaks effectively. In addition to renewable energy generation, the implementation of an advanced load management system is critical. This system aims to reduce costs associated with peak electricity demand (capacity charges) and ensure grid stability year-round. The work includes an analysis of storage technologies, including compressed air energy storage (CAES) systems, which can further optimize energy use and reduce operational costs. This research explores both the technical and economic viability of these solutions to achieve greater energy efficiency and cost savings in production processes.eng
