9/2001: Ahndung einer "zweiten Front" im Kaukasus? Die Deportation der Tschetschenen und Inguschen in den Jahren 1942-1945 und die Mär von der kollektiven Kollaboration mit dem deutschen Aggressor

Abstract

Wer sich mit der Hochphase des Stalinismus beschäftigt, also den Jahren 1935 bis 1953, wird an einem der prägenden Einschnitte in der jüngeren Geschichte der Kaukasus-Region, nämlich der Deportation der Völker des Nordkaukasus in den Jahren 1944/45, nicht vorbeikommen. Im Mittelpunkt dieser Studie steht demzufolge die mit ungeheuren Aufwand an Mensch und Material generalstabsmäßig durchgeführte Deportation ganzer Völker in einer Zeit, in der die Rote Armee an der Front und die Zivilbevölkerung im sowjetischen Hinterland mit hohen Einsatz gegen die deutschen, italienischen und rumänischen Invasoren kämpfte. Im Text wird nach den Zusammenhängen von Kriegsführung auf der einen und Deportation auf der anderen Seite gefragt.

Anyone who deals with the high phase of Stalinism, i.e. the years 1935 to 1953, will not be able to avoid one of the most significant events in the recent history of the Caucasus region, namely the deportation of the peoples of the North Caucasus in 1944/45. The focus of this study is therefore the deportation of entire peoples, carried out with an enormous amount of human and material resources, at a time when the Red Army at the front and the civilian population in the Soviet hinterland were fighting with great commitment against the German, Italian and Romanian invaders. The text asks about the connections between warfare on the one hand and deportation on the other.
