Zur Typisierung von Ceratophyllum platyacanthum (Ceratophyllaceae)

Mühlberg, H. 2014: Zur Typisierung von Ceratophyllum platyacanthum (Ceratophyllaceae). Schlechtendalia 27: 17–20. Die Beschriftung der Etiketten von drei Herbarbögen mit Pflanzen von Ceratophyllum platyacanthum, die D. F. L. v. Schlechtendal in Berlin gesammelt und als C. demersum bestimmt hat, wird analysiert. Die Verwendung der Termini Holotypus durch Wilmot-Dear (1985) und Les (1986, 1988) und Isotypus durch Les (1986, 1988) für diese Bögen wird kritisiert, da im Protolog kein Typus genannt und auch keine Einzelkollektion zitiert wurde. Die Bezeichnung als „Holotypus“ wird als Lectotypisierung interpretiert und in diesem Sinne geändert, da es sich nach ICN, Art. 9.9. um einen korrigierbaren Fehler handelt.

The labeling of three sheets with plants of Ceratophyllum platyacanthum, collected by D. F. L. V. Schlechtendal in Berlin and identified as C. demersum, are analysed. The application of the terms holotype by Wilmot-Dear (1985) and Les (1986, 1988) and isotype by Les (1986, 1988) for these sheets is criticised since the protologue of C. platyacanthum does neither contain any typification nor the citation of a single collection. The denomination as holotype is interpreted as lectotypification and altered in this sense, as this case may be considered a correctable mistake according to ICN, Art. 9.9.
