F, L.; WARTHEMANN, G.: Thermophilic and acidophilic, fringe communities of Peucedanum oreoselinum as forest edges in the middle of Germany. - Hercynia N.F. 36 (2003): 13–22.In the pleistocenic landscape in central Germany occur some thermophilic and acidophilic stands of forest edges which are not described up to now. They are characterized by a specific combination of thermophilic and mesophilic species of fringe communities and oligotrophic grassland species at acidic sites. This independent plant community is described as the new association Agrostio-Peucedanetum oreoselini in this article. Peucedanum oreoselinum is its characteristic species. This association is set as an independent alliance (Agrostio-Peucedanion oreoselini) in the class Melampyro pratensis-Holcetea mollis.eng
