Zusammenfassung: In addition to transforming healthcare delivery, digital health technologies have also posed significant challenges related to data security and privacy. HIPAA and GDPR compliance, emerging technologies, and best practices are discussed in this paper examining healthcare data protection today. Cryptography, access control, data anonymization, and blockchain-based approaches are key solutions discussed to improve data integrity and security. Moreover, artificial intelligence has the potential to detect and mitigate real-time security threats. This paper proposes strategies for ensuring patient safety, building trust, and protecting sensitive healthcare information as digital health technology continues to develop. Regulatory compliance and robust security measures are key to protecting patient information while fostering digital health innovation. With these challenges addressed, the healthcare industry can enhance patient experiences and maintain patient confidentiality as the landscape becomes increasingly digital.
