Abstract: In what condition is the European children’s film? This is the underlying question of this study prepared on the occasion of the third international KIDS Regio Forum 2019. The present study is based on previous analyses, carried out by the European Audiovisaul Observatory, however expanding them by certain questions and perspectives. This study too focuses on production figures, circulation and audience success of live action and animation films but additionally looks at the development and audience success of co-productions as a comparison.
