Zum Vorkommen der Stipa-Arten im Kyffhäusergebirge

Abstract

PUSCH, J.; BARTHEL, K.-J.: Occurence of Stipa-species in the Kyffhäuser-mountains. - Hercynia N.F. 36 (2003): 23–45.In Germany seven Stipa-species are to be found. Four of them - S. capillata, S. tirsa, S. pennata and S. pulcherrima - occure in the Kyffhäuser-area. There these species partly are forming large populations, which mostly cover the single plots with a high dominance. In the years from 1998 to 2002 an actual estimation of all Stipaplots could be performed based on results of a working group within the frame of a large cultivation and development project for nature protection called „Kyffhäuser“. There were registrated 200.500 individuals of S. pennata, 50.000 individuals of S. pulcherrima, 80.000 individuals of S. capillata and 40.000 individuals of S. tirsa. Furthermore there were made 28 recordings of vegetation. This publication contains informations about the sociology of the Stipa-species at the „Kyffhäuser“. Compared with the other Stipa-species S. tirsa is spreading actually. In the last years new S. tirsa-populations were discovered in well explored areas of the Kyffhäuser-mountains, where S. tirsa formerly has not been observed.
