Schubert, R.: Moss communities in and on the river Oder and Sieber in the national park of Harz (Lower Saxony). - Hercynia N.F. 37 (2004): 19–43. In the national park of Harz in and on the river of Oder and Sieber 18 moss communities have been described. Their structure, ecology, distribution, endangerment and the necessity of management for protection are represented. The same is represented for the 11 moss communities, which could be found in the ditches build up by mining.
