Zusammenfassung: Reichert, U; Frühauf, M.; Müller, J.: Comparative analysis for the climate development of theregion Halle (Saale) between 1965 and 2008. – Hercynia N. F. 43 (2010): 5 –18.The worldwide picked out as a central theme climate change and its results are very differently on theregional level. The challenge concerning the development on the regional level of necessary adaptationstrategies and adaptation measures is accordingly high. To be able to estimate exactly possible climatechanges and from it arising problems, it requires the evaluation of the regional available climate data. Bymeans of the data being since 1965 to temperature, precipitation and global radiation a suitable climateanalysis was carried out in this work for the region Halle (Saale). By reason of the geographic positionin Middle Germany dry region there is a high vulnerability. For Germany and Saxony-Anhalt definitenoticeable climate changes were also proved for the region Halle (Saale) in the investigation period1965 to 2008. The mean temperature increased by an average 1.3 K. Above all, the spring and wintermonths showed a positive change of air temperature. The temperature developments also led to changesin the appearance of extreme temperature incidents. The increase of the number of summer monthsand hot days faces a decrease of frost and ice days. The mean precipitation sums show a not significanttrend of the increase. But, a clear rearrangement of the precipitation can be observed. Especially inJuly and September an increase of the precipitation sum occurred. In June and August the precipitationdeclined clearly. Furthermore, a slight increase of the winter precipitation is demoted. The shifting ofthe precipitation maximum for July is mainly focused on a rise of the intense precipitation. These generallyincreased in their intensity. The global radiation has increased after an at first negative trend sincethe eighties. In all examined stations the upraised climate parameters showed similar developments.Originally supposed differences between the stations Halle/Kröllwitz as a city station as well as BadLauchstädt and Seeben as environs stations could not be confirmed. Probably city climatological effectsrepeal by the distance to the city centre and the climatic positve favouring Dölauer Heide and Saaleauein immediate nearness. Regarding on the development of temperature extremes and intense precipitationwithin the city, a consideration of the last ten years in all available stations seems reasonable. Especiallybecause of the very probably increasing air temperatures (IPCC, in 2007) the number of the summeryextreme incidents increases. This would have direct consequences on the quality of life of the peopleliving in the city.Key words: climate change, climate data, air temperature, precipitation, global radiation, climate ofHalle (Saale)
