Kurzbeschreibung zur sechsten Untersuchungswelle 1976/77 der BOLSA

Abstract

Die 6. Untersuchungswelle fand vom 30. August 1976 bis 11. Juli 1977 statt. Insgesamt nahmen 80 Probanden (33 Männer, 47 Frauen) an der Untersuchung teil, die noch nicht wegen Krankheit oder Tod ausgefallen waren. Der Wochenablauf war dem der ersten Wellen ähnlich und unterschied sich daher von der verkürzten Fassung der 5. Welle. Da sich die mittlerweile neuen Mitglieder des Untersuchungsteams und die Probanden nicht kannten bzw. mehrere Jahre nicht gesehen hatten, fand am ersten Untersuchungstag wieder ein informelles Treffen statt.

Die 1. Exploration fokussierte sich, wie schon in den anderen Wellen auf die aktuelle Lebenssituation der Probanden, die 2. Exploration auf die nahe Vergangenheit. Am letzten Tag in Bonn wurde, nachdem die psychologischen Tests abgeschlossen waren, die Probanden in der 3. Exploration nach ihrer Zukunft befragt. Zusätzlich wurde die Lebenszufriedenheit der Probanden erkundet. Ein Ausflug fand, wie schon in der 5. Welle, nicht mehr statt. Die Teilnehmer*innen der Kontrollstudie wurde nicht wieder eingeladen.

The sixth wave of investigations took place from 30 August 1976 to 11 July 1977. A total of 80 subjects (33 men, 47 women) took part in the study who had not yet dropped out due to illness or death. The weekly schedule was similar to that of the first waves and therefore differed from the shortened version of the 5th wave. Since the meanwhile new members of the examination team and the test persons did not know each other or had not seen each other for several years, an informal meeting was held again on the first day of the examination. As in the other waves, the 1st exploration focused on the current life situation of the test persons, the 2nd exploration on the near past. On the last day in Bonn, after the psychological tests had been completed, the subjects in the 3rd exploration were asked about their future. Additionally, the life satisfaction of the test persons was explored. As in the 5th wave, one excursion did not take place. The participants of the control study were not interviewed again.
