| Abstract: | In ihrer Darstellung über die Walser-Bubis-Kontroverse ordnet Friederike Dietzel die Motivation des prominenten Schriftstellers für seinen Angriff auf die bisherige Praxis der Holocaust-Rezeption in den öffentlichen Schuld-Diskurs der Bundesrepublik ein. Weniger der Inhalt der Auseinandersetzung als ihre Form reflektieren die nachhaltige, generationsspezifische Verunsicherung in dieser Frage. In her account of the Walser-Bubis controversy, Friederike Dietzel places the prominent writer's motivation for his attack on the previous practice of Holocaust reception in the public guilt discourse of the Federal Republic of Germany. It is less the content of the controversy than its form that reflects the lasting, generation-specific uncertainty in this question. |
