To develop a sport didactic educational concept for hip-hop dance is the main goal of this dissertation. The following sub-objectives were formulated out of the overall objective: 1. The development and testing of the concept on the basis of an interdisciplinary analysis of literature. Out of this, the objectives, contents and methods of the concept were cristallized. 2. The performance of an empirical-analytical and a quasi-experimental study. On the basis of the sub-objectives mentioned above, hypotheses were formulated: on the one hand regarding the interdisciplinary analysis (research hypotheses) and on the other hand concerning a planned questionnaire analysis and test evaluation (study hypotheses). Besides the development and testing of the sport didactic hip-hop dance concept, an empirical study was carried out using the following methods of investigation: a) written surveys and b) practical tests to check out changes of certain skills or motor performance requirements. The analysis of the questionnaires showed among other things, that the majority of students is interested in a sport didactic educational concept. The evaluation of the practical tests showed a significant improvement of the expression ability, mobility, rhythm and coupling ability.
