dc.description.abstract | In dieser Arbeit werden Zweischritt-W-Methoden und implizite Peer-Methoden zur Lösung von großen steifen Differentialgleichungssystemen mit der Anwendung einer Approcimierenden Matrix-Faktorisierung (AMF) betrachtet. Für diese Methoden werden lineare Stabilitätseigenschaften, Konsistenz und Konvergenz untersucht. Geeignete Zweischritt-W-Methoden und Peer-Methoden werden konstruiert. Ihre Effektivität wird in numerischen Experimenten an semidiskretisierten partiellen Differentialgleichungen getestet und mit klassischen Einschritt-W-Methoden verglichen. | ger |
dc.description.abstract | In this thesis, two-step W-methods and implicit peer methods are considered with an approximate matrix factorization (AMF) for the solution of large systems of still ordinary differential equations (ODEs). Linear stability properties, consistency and convergence are investigated for these methods. Appropriate two-step W-methods and peer methods have been constructed. In numerical experiments, their performance is tested on semi-discretized partial differential equation (PDE) problems of convection-diffusion-reaction type and compared with classical one-step W-methods. | - |
