Fulldome Cinema : Untersuchungen zur Medienwirkung und Veränderung der Bilddramaturgie

Abstract

Diese Arbeit widmet sich dem Forschungsfeld Fulldome/ Kuppelkino. Genauer betrachtet werden die Medienwirkung auf das Publikum mit Hilfe mehrerer Publikumsstudien und die Bilddramaturgie mit einer eigens erarbeiteten Filmanalyse-Struktur (Kap 6). Die ersten Kapitel (2-3) geben eine umfassende Einführung in das Thema Bilddramaturgie im canvas cinema und zeigt die Historie zum Fulldome auf – von der Kuppelmalerei bis zu den digitalen Projektionen der heutigen Zeit. Unterfüttert wird dies mit statistischen Daten der Fulldome-/ Planetariumslandschaft in Deutschland. Das vierte Kapitel widmet sich dem theoretischen, medienwissenschaftlichen Hintergrund und betrachtet (Film-) Wahrnehmung, Dispositiv und Immersion genauer. Alle Erkenntnisse aus den Kapiteln fließen in das Kernkapitel (5) zur Bilddramaturgie ein und erschaffen somit ein Kompendium verschiedener filmischer Parameter zum Fulldome-Film.

This work is dedicated to the research field of fulldome/dome cinema. It looks at the effect on the audience in more detail with the help of several audience studies and at the image dramaturgy with a specially developed film analysis structure (Chapter 6). The first chapters (2 3) provide a comprehensive introduction to the topic of image dramaturgy in canvas cinema and the history of fulldome from dome painting to today's digital projections. This is supported by statistical data of the fulldome/planetarium landscape in Germany. The fourth chapter is dedicated to the theoretical, media studies background and takes a closer look at (film) perception, dispositive and immersion. Concluding of all results and fin dings from the chapters the core chapter (5) unfolds a detailed sight of image dramaturgy, and th i s create s a compendium of various cinematic parameters for fulldome films.
